We are a locally-owned community pharmacy in Parksville, B.C. Parksville Pharmacy was born from a realization that numerous individuals were failing to follow up after being prescribed medication by their physicians. We found a way to streamline the whole process in order to make it easier for everyone to heal.

Mar Patel, After graduating from pharmacy school, started his career with Shoppers Drug mart in Nanaimo. In 2011, he opened a Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, where he served the community for 10 years.

In 2021, he sought out a better way to help patients in the community and opened up his independent pharmacy. With over 15 years of pharmacy experience, he is well qualified to assist in your health management. He is passionate about his involvement in the community and is committed to prescription safety.

Mar wanted to create an environment that allowed him and the staff to get to know customers as people, not numbers.
