Meet Mar Patel – Your Community Pharmacist
After graduating from pharmacy school, Mar Patel began his career at Shoppers Drug Mart in Nanaimo, where he laid the foundation for a lifelong commitment to patient care. In 2011, he took the next step by opening a Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, proudly serving the local community for 10 years.
In 2021, driven by a desire to better support the health and well-being of his patients, Mar opened his own independent pharmacy. With over 15 years of pharmacy experience, he brings deep expertise and a genuine passion for healthcare to every patient interaction.
Mar is especially dedicated to prescription safety and personalized care. His vision was to create a welcoming environment where he and his team could get to know customers as individuals—not just numbers. In an age dominated by big box stores and fast-paced service, his pharmacy stands apart by offering the kind of personal attention your health deserves.
